BROWN BAGS
During the summer when school is not in session, qualifying families with school-age children receive supplemental food items that children can prepare for themselves. This is in addition to items received from the Food Pantry.
CSFP BOXES
Referred to as "Senior Boxes", these boxes come prepackaged from Second Harvest Food Bank to the Ministry Center.
Seniors who are 60+, qualify financially and are unable to access the Food Pantry receive these boxes delivered to their home by volunteer drivers.
BACKPACK BUDDIES
A backpack of food items is distributed to qualifying children throughout the county to supplement them with food for the weekend. (Many children rely on the free breakfast and lunch they receive at school).
This program is funded by The Ministry Center, but Community Services oversees it. Funds that are donated for this program are kept separate from the general funds of the food pantry.
